We begin with a short worship session, then divide into three groups for age-related activities. Activities include stories, songs, games, role-play, discussion sessions, colouring and craft.

Sand
This group is for pre-school children (i.e. those children who have not yet started school).

Pebbles
The Pebbles group is for children who attend Infant school (Reception to Year 2).

Rocks and Boulders This group is for Junior and High school children (Year 3 and upwards). | |

If children are happier in a younger group, e.g. to be with younger siblings, then this is fine.
After our group sessions, we join the adult congregation in Church for the second part of the service, following which coffee, tea, soft drinks and biscuits are served in the Hall.
Junior Church Annual Events
In addition to our Sunday meetings, we have the following regular events, to which children of all ages are welcome:
Good Friday Workshop – Art and craft, games and cooking activities from 10am to 12 noon in the Church Hall. These are followed by drinks and hot cross buns in the Hall and then a very short service in Church.
June Fun Morning – More art and craft, games and cooking activities from 10am to 12 noon in the Church Hall and garden, followed by a picnic in the garden (weather permitting).
November Fun Morning – More art and craft, games and cooking activities from 10am to 12 noon in the Church Hall, including Advent window painting.
Nativity Play - rehearsals in December, followed by a performance in Church.
We also arrange theatre trips and special evenings for older children.
